Farm Frenzy 3 Game Review (online Big Fish Game)

Farm Frenzy 3 is the last (4th) game in the Farm Frenzy series (one of the bigfish games), same proven formula but with cool new options. It is a funny time management game, you have to meet different (sometimes conflicting) goals like baking 12 cakes or owning ten goats. The previous Farm Frenzy game may have gotten too complicated for some players. But Farm Frenzy 3 takes a jump backwards gameplay wise. It has added more of a story and also some international locations. Unfortunately the result is also a step backwards in fun. It is still a good and playable game, but it lacks the charm of earlier versions.

I like the FF games from the beginning. The graphics are simple and the animals are funny and the gameplay was great. Farm goals are easy to understand and every level offered strategies that keep things interesting. The best part about it was the re playability.

After FF and FF 2 the next title was FF Pizza Party. That wasn't really a "think fast and click fast" game but only added more complex recipes.

Farm Frenzy 3 hasn't got the complex recipes, so that's a big plus. Most of the products only have two ingredients and even the most complex ones are easy to learn. To increase the variety, you can play on ingredients different continents, so although there is an egg layer on each farm, the animals them self vary a lot from Geese to Penguins.

In the 3Th part the graphics are more sophisticated, instead of the 2D cartoon style, they are now using 3D character drawings with shadows and also highlights. Each type of animal also eats differently and there are more details, you can for example watch a penguin flip a fish into the air to catch it to eat.

The game itself falls flat a bit, compared to earlier versions that is. For example the more complex graphics really slow down rendering if you don't have a fast computer. particularly when items are falling down from the sky.

If you are serious to get gold on every level, you can still dig down to the heart of the Farm Frenzy series: a lot of strategy choices you can make, easy ways to test the choices as you work your way towards perfection. But I have to say only felt compelled to keep playing this game because of my earlier experiences with previous Farm Frenzy games. If this would had been the first game in the series, perhaps I would have bothered replaying the levels multiple times to get the gold.

But Farm Frenzy 3 does prove that you can add a variety to a new game without increasing complexity. It is also a great example of returning to a series roots without releasing a copy of the original bigfish game. So you can expect more variety in this Farm Frenzy 3 game, without losing that kernel of simplicity that makes the series unstoppably addictive, it's surely one of the best bigfishgames at the moment.

Youda Sushi Chef Game Review (online Big Fish Game)

Youda Sushi Chef is a free funny (simple to learn) time management game; it's all happening in a sushi restaurant, it's a game where you have to make the sushi. Customers come in and place their sushi orders, which are shown in pictures above their heads.

You must memorize different combinations to make the sushi, you must add the right amount of rice, eel and nori to make a so called eel maki. This sounds hard, but it isn't, you frequently need to repeat things (one of the only flaws). It is a game but you can also learn a bit about sushi and the ingredients. At the bottom of the screen, you can see how much cash you have earned (that's in Yen). With this cash you can order more ingredients.

The hardest part is memorizing all the things to make sushi, but it's worth it if you like to play a really fast paced game. But a real positive thing are the customers (in 3D), they are actually chewing their food and they have different heads and bodies (lots of variety).

In total there are 6 shushi restaurants, each with 7 levels. Perhaps that seems short, but it isn't. Each level is long, you will also find yourself replaying levels in order to advance, it's a real challenge. What you can expect from this game is hours and hours of fun game play.

With so many time management games, Youda Sushi Chef really stands out as something new and different. The gameplay is very simple and a bit addictive, full of frantic mouse clicking and plenty of challenges, because of that I recommend this game to fans of time management games.

Chef of War by Yesgamez - A Review About This Mochimedia Flash Game

This review is about a new online game called Chef of War. This free game can be found, downloaded and added to your own arcade game website from mochimedia.

The game itself is not too hard to learn. You have to control the little chef in a big kitchen that have to beat all the monsters (weird looking creatures). You have to use tomatoes (on a line) to hit them, if you hit them enough times you will kill them and they will disappear. Try to hit them multiple times in a row to score extra points.

The aim of the game is to clear all the waves, you have to collect orbs to increase your score, health and the magic meter. You can use the rage option, you simply press 'space' when magic meter (blue meter) is full and then you can kill all the creatures that are currently in the screen.

Graphics:
A lot of colors are used, I like the chef image and also the creatures are funny.

Movement:
You can control the chef using the arrow keys, you can also jump (A) and use the rage key (space). You have to walk to the right like most other games, every time some new monsters will come to you so watch out.

Conclusion: It is a funny game, I really like the chef character. You're walking around in a big kitchen with huge food pieces in the background. It's a easy game to learn, sometimes hard to beat the opponents but I really recommend this game.
